Jagti inmates face water scarcity

JAMMU, July 21: The Jagti camp inmates are facing acute scarcity of water for over last fortnight.
The camp inmates in a meeting today appealed the Relief authorities to take immediate steps in solving the problem as persistent water crisis has put the camp inmates to many hardships.
The camp inmates who met here today under the chairmanship of Sunil Pandita made an appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita in this regard and urged him to take immediate steps in solving the problem.
The meeting also demanded payment of cash in lieu of the ration for last three months as was earlier announced by the authorities. The meeting was attended by Ashu Zitshi, Sunil Raina, Ramesh Bhat and Ravinder Pandit.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party Migrant Cell president Inder Ji Labroo has also expressed serious concern over the water crisis being faced by inmates of Jagti Camp for over last 15 days and appealed the relief authorities to solve the problem immediately.
