JAMMU, July10: Rotarian Advocate BR Chandan has been installed as President of Rotary Club Jammu for the year 2016-17 in an installation ceremony, here today.
Chandan has been installed as President by Governor of District 3070 Dr Sarbjeet Singh. The installation ceremony was marked with the exchange of Rotary Collars by Rotarian Ashok Gupta.
The annual report was read by the Secretary of the Club. Chandan gave details of the projects taken by Rotarian Ashok Gupta and his team during 2015-16, which were appreciated by the audience.
Rotarian Ashok Gupta in his address, highlighted the challenges faced by the team and the relief measures taken by the club for flood affected people of J&K.
District Governor Dr Sarbjeet Singh spoke about Rotary International Clubs of the District 3070 and their achievements particularly district award functions held at police auditorium at Jammu.
Later, President Rotarian Advocate BR Chandan announced his team for the year 2016-17 and gave a brief of projects to be taken his tenure.
