Deputation of AJKL Teachers Federation calls on DSE

JAMMU, July 2: A deputation of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation called on Director School Education, Jammu,  to discuss the issues and demands of the teaching community.
The deputation, led by Balwan Singh Jamwal, demanded release of Mid Day Meal and salary grants in time and said that teaching and non-teaching staff of the schools was suffering because of unprecedented delay in this regard.
The AJKLTF also demanded filling up of all the vacant posts of teachers, Master and Lecturers, leave encashment for teachers, Senior Teacher grade to  trained Under- Graduate teachers, strict adherence of  transfer norms, regularization of all cadres of School Education at the time of promotion, exempting teachers from other than academic duties, adjustment of  promotee Masters of Jammu division since February 2014,  removal of Pay anomalies of Master Grade, enhancement of Medical allowance and 20 percent location allowance to teachers/Masters/ Headmasters, ZEOs, working in far flung areas.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that all their demands would be positively considered.
The deputation comprised of Joginder Singh Manhas, Manga Ram Sharma, Sudershan Sharma, Fazal Sheikh, Vijay Sharma, Chaman Lal Sharma, Fazal Sheikh, Vijay Sharma, Chaman Lal Sharma, Tara Chand, Shamsher Singh, Inderjeet Gupta, Jeet Singh, Mohan Lal Sharma, Naresh Chowdhary and others.
