JAMMU, July 2: The irate residents of Janipur held protest against Power Development Department (PDD).
Large number of people residing in the Janipur area assembled on the New Plot-Akhnoor road and blocked it as PDD failed to repair the damaged transformer.
After getting information, PDD officials and police rushed to the spot and assured the protesting people that the power will be resumed in the short possible time.
On the assurance, the protestors dispersed and the vehicular movement was restored.
