JAMMU, July 2: A theft in the ‘Malkhana’ of District Court, Poonch last night put the entire administration on the toes this morning.
Officials sources said that Court staff noticed the locks of `Malkhana’ broken in the morning and raised alarm. They also found locks of the office of Mobile Magistrate broken. The matter was brought to the notice of District Sessions Judge and other senior Judicial officers.
The police party led by SHO Poonch also reached there after some time, receiving information. An inquiry committee of the Court officers was constituted to inquire into the matter. The police also took the cognizance of the matter. It is believed that, some insiders are suspected to be involved in the case. Some files and items were found missing.
