HPCL launches PMUY awareness campaign

JAMMU, July 2: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) launched Prime Minister Ujwala Yojna awareness campaign in district Rajouri.
In this connection, an awareness camp was organised by the company  at Kotranka town along with local dealer M/s D D Gas Agency. While launching the campaign, Deputy Manager Sales, HPCL,  Anees  J Qari  today said that  the cooking gas scheme will benefit  5 crore families across India till 2019.
Mr Anees further said that this cooking gas connection will not only help reduce cost for each family, but will also help to better the health of women. Providing LPG connections to BPL house holds will ensure wide coverage of cooking gas across the State, Anees added.
The awareness camp at Kotranka was also attended by Vinod  Mahajan, proprietor of DD Gas Agency, Rajouri. He informed   people about various features of this scheme.  He disclosed that Pardhan Mantri Ujjwal Yojna provides a financial support of Rs 1600 for each LPG connection to the BPL households and also provide  loan to the customer.
