Katra, July 2: SSP Railways Katra Ashok Sharma along with SDPO Railways Katra Kamlesh Shoor paid visit to Railways Station Katra to check the deployment of GRP manpower.
Security deployment at each and every point was checked and security personnel on duty were briefed regarding different aspects and parameters of security at Railways Station Katra.
Application and proper use of security gadgets was observed and security personnel were advised to use them in highly optimum manner.
After this, the SSP along with SDPO Railways Katra/Udhampur also inspected the Reception Counters at Katra and Udhampur, which has been established by GRP Katra to facilitate the Pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Ji and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.
The SSP also briefed the officers including Narinder Singh, SHO, Dipak Tufchi, Rakesh Kumar, Om Dutt & SI Shiv Paul and Romesh Singh to exhibit extraordinary performance during the ongoing Amarnath Ji Yatra.
