UDHAMPUR, June 29: A fitness camp for children with special need, of the age group of six to 18 years, is being organized in the premises of CEO Office, Udhampur, from today.
The camp was inaugurated by CEO Udhampur, Bishan Singh in the presence of J M Tharmatt, District Education Planning Officer, Ram Kumar, Dy CEO, Anil Kumar Raina, AD Planning, Raj Kumar, DRP, Surinder Kumar and others.
In today’s camp, 90 children participated. They were provided three tricycles, 26 wheel chairs, five walkers, 48 MSIED kits, two crutch, 110 hearing aids, three smart canes and 34 calipers.
The camp is being organized under the IED component of SSA for both school going and out of school children.
