JAMMU, June 26: Five persons were injured today in three separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, three of a family including a couple and their 10-year old daughter were injured when the scooter on which they were travelling was hit by a car here at Gujjar Nagar. The injured were identified as Harjeet Singh (45) son of Mian Singh, his wife, Vijender Kour (38) and daughter, Bavneet Kour (10).
At Sainik Colony, an Eon car collided with a truck, resulting into injuries to car driver Rahul Choudhary (20) son of Rashpal, a resident of Kunjwani.
Similarly, a man was injured when the car he was driving, collided with a bus at Nagrota in city outskirts. The injured has been identified as Sunil Kumar (30) son of Prem Nath, a resident of Nagrota.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
