KISHTWAR, June 23: Police arrested two persons along with large quantity of illicitm liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Kishtwar police station laid a naka at Dak Banglow and arrested two persons along with 91 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused have been identified as Ashiq Hussain, son of Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Sarkoot and Fareed Ahmed, son of Abdul Rashid of Hidyal.
A case under FIR Number 123/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Kishtwar Rakesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Operations Irshad Ahmed and SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir.
