JAMMU, June 23: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has asked all the Chief Education Officers of Jammu division to organize district wise Transfer Melas for on spot disposal of transfer matters.
According to a notice in this regard, issued today, only those Teachers/Masters/Lecturers with matured stay of two years as on June 1, 2016, shall participate in the Transfer Mela along with simple written application.
Further, for those Teaching staff, who have not completed their tenure but wish to avail exemption given in the new transfer policy, can also participate with all the requisite documents.
Those seeking transfer on medical ground being single parents, nearing retirement, dependents with special needs etc as per new transfer policy, issued vice Government order number 622-Edu of 2015, dated 22-12-2015, have been asked to come with their original documents for the purpose of verification.
As per the notice, the Transfer Mela should not be of less than three days duration and entire process has to be completed by the first week of July 2016 by all the CEOs of Summer Zone.
Meanwhile, according to CEO Jammu, Transfer Melas at all Zonal HQs of District Jammu are being organized on June 27, 28 & 29, 2016 .
