Seven injured in separate road mishaps

JAMMU, June 14: Seven persons were injured today in three separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a Santro car bearing registration number JK021-7884 today collided with a truck bearing registration number JK02S-9705 at Chowki Choura area of Akhnoor. He said that in the mishap, four occupants of the car including driver got injured. The injured have been identified as driver of Santro car namely Rajesh Kumar (42) son of Chaman Lal, a resident of Ramgarh, his wife, Sneh Lata (42), their daughter, Kamaksha Kerma (15) and Kanta Devi (63), mother of Rajesh Kumar.
In Udheywala area of city outskirts, two persons identified as Garu Ram (46) son of Sain Dass, resident of Samachak and Shinda (32) son of Raghu Ram, resident of Nai Basti, were injured when the bike on which they were travelling, was hit by an unknown vehicle.
A pedestrian identified as Rajdev (52) son of Ram Subod, resident of Bihar, at present residing in Bagh-e-Bahu area of Jammu, was hit and injured by a car at Narwal.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
