DODA, June 13: A teacher died when the scooter he was riding on got entangled into barbed wires on Bhalla-Trown road.
As per police sources, a teacher identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Bhalla was riding a scooter bearing registration number JK06-8628.
The rider, while trying to pass a tipper lost control over the scooter and it got entangled into the barbed wire resulting into serious injuries to the pillion rider Sanjay Kumar.
The injured teacher was immediately shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Bhalla where doctors declared him as brought dead. The person who was driving the scooter fled from the spot.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to family members for last after completing medical examination.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
