SAMBA, June 13: A meeting of the civil society of Samba was held under the leadership of Capt (Rtd) Inder Singh Sambyal, president district Rajput Sabha Samba while DIG (Rtd) Karan Singh Sambyal presided over.
The meeting discussed in detail the delay being caused by the Government in installing life size statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh at Kunjwani Chowk, NH Jammu, which Rajput Sabha has been pursuing for the past 15 years.
The speakers strongly demanded installation of the said statue be installed on priority basis.
Those who shared their views in the meeting included Brig S S Sambyal, Col Jangbir Singh, Mohinder Singh, V S Jamwal, C S Jasrotia, Shiv Charan Singh, Kabala Singh Bogal, Suresh Singh Advocate, Surjeet Singh, Ajit Singh Katal, Ashwani Sambyal, Raj Kumar Badial, Bua Ditta, Shambu Singh, Iqbal Singh, Vinod Singh etc.
