JAMMU, Sept 19: Junior Doctors Association (JDA) held a meeting and elected the office bearers.
In the meeting, Dr Sandeep Singh, Registrar Orthapedics, was elected as president, while Dr Vinod Khajuria was elected as vice president.
Dr Anchal Kotwal was elected as general secretary, Dr Sandeep Koul as media incharge and Dr Arban Kumar as treasurer.
Dr Rohit Lahori and Dr Nittal Gupta as joint secretaries, Dr Satyankar Gupta as junior secretary, Dr Raj Kumar as organizing secretary and Dr Varun Koul as spokesperson.
After taking the charge, Dr Sandeep Singh conveyed a meeting of the newly elected office bearers, in which various issues were discussed.
Dr Singh, demanded immediate issuance of salary of the few post graduate, who have not been issued stipend/ salary every after the High Court has decided the case.
He also demanded immediate fulfillment of vacant posts of Registrar/ Demonstrators and security be provided and in case of any accident occurs, administration should file for instead of doctors.
