JAMMU, May 27: A meeting of trustees of Yugdhar Devsthan Development Trust was held here, today demand regarding helicopter service for the devotees from Mantalai to Yugdhar on Mela day falling on May 31 this year made by the trustees.
Baba Yug mela is held every year on May 31 at Yugdhar and more than 30000 people pay obeisance to Baba Yug Maharaj but there is no road connectivity to Yugdhar due to which devotees are facing problems. The people have to travel on foot either from Samroli NHW or from Chenani town continuously for six hours to reach at Yugdhar . The elderly people, the children, the females and the ailing devotees face many difficulties to pay obeisance to Almighty Baba, the meeting said.
Hence the helicopter service be started from famous Mantalai helipad to Yugdhar near Baba Yug temple .
The Trust decided to approach the District administration for the start of helicopter service to Yugdhar on May 31 for the convenience of the devotees.
Those who were present in the meeting includes Baldev Singh, Radha Krishan, Romal Chand, Romesh Singh, Shamsher Singh, Dina Nath and others
