KISHTWAR, May 26: Police today fished out body of a missing man from Chenab river in Drabshalla area here.
As per police sources, some passerby noticed a body floating in river Chenab in Drabshalla area and informed the police.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and divers were pressed in to fish out the body.
The body was retrieved from the river Chenab and after completing legal formalities, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
The deceased has been identified as Randeep Kumar, son of Roshan Lal Rana, a resident of Matta, district Kishtwar. He was missing since May 3.
A case in this regard has been registered at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
