RAMBAN, May 26: A driver was injured, when the tanker he was driving plunged into gorge near Kunfer area, falling under the jurisdiction of Chanderkote police station.
As per police sources, a tanker having temporary registration number plunged into 40 feet deep gorge near Kunfer area of Chandekote, causing injuries to driver.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured driver to District Hospital, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured has been identified as Jaswant Singh (55), son of Kartar Singh, a resident of Satwari, Jammu.
A case in this regard has been registered at Chanderkote police station and investigation started.
