JAMMU, May 24: Five persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in the outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
According to a police spokesman, three persons including an aged couple were injured when the bike on which they were travelling, got slipped at Domana. The injured were identified as Ashok Bhat (52) son of Makhan Lal, resident of Sarwal, his wife namely Bhawna Bhat (45) and Sunny Kumar (18) son of Bachchan Lal, resident of Dayaran (Mishriwala).
In Bagh-e-Bahu area, a mini-bus hit a bike and injured its rider identified as Sahil Kumar (25) son of Darshan Lal, a resident of Gorkha Nagar (Bagh-e-Bahu) while a woman was injured when the bike on which she was travelling along with her husband, went out of control and it rammed into the parapet of the road at Satwari.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while in all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
