JAMMU, May 24: People of Sarwal, Rehari and New Plot today held protest against ERA and PWD (R&B) for the worst condition of roads of West Assembly constituency.
The protest was held under the leadership of Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement.
Addressing the protesting people, Sunil Dimple alleged that no development is taking place in the West Assembly constituency. He said that all motorable roads of Sarwal, Mandir Morh and the roads connecting Sarwal, Rehari and New Plot are damaged.
He alleged the ERA, PWD (R&B), JMC and PHE works in Sarwal by the ERA is going at very slow pace and there is no coordination between these departments due to which the people are facing multiple problems.
Dimple warned the Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) and ERA project manager that if the black topping is not done soon the next protest will be held at their respective offices.
