JAMMU, May 24: Digiana Welfare Committee (DWC) today highlighted their demands in its meeting held here today under the presidentship of Aslam Khan.
Addressing the meeting, Khan brought to the notice of the authorities the issues of worst condition of roads and drains in Ward No 45.
He said that roads from Digiana Ashram to Rani Talab (Digiana), Vishwakarma Chowk to Mohalla Bhagat and House of Bari Ram to Mohalla Loharana are in dilapidated condition with full of potholes while drains of the area are also choked and the dirty water of drains flows on the road giving foul smell.
Khan appealed the authorities concerned to conduct an inspection of the area and take up immediate steps for blacktopping of roads and cleaning of drains in the interest of the common masses.
