UDHAMPUR, May 24: A deputation under the leadership of Sarpanch Raj Mohd Chandail met the MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency Pawan Gupta in connection with the problems of their area.
During interaction with MLA, Sarpanch Raj Mohd Chandail thanked MLA Pawan Gupta for initiating development works in their Panchayat. He appealed with MLA for the construction of road from Gangera to Rajjan di Baowli, a long pending demand of the people and also the election commitment. Raj Mohd Chandail also demanded the construction of link road up to Sharda Mata Mandir.
Pawan Gupta informed the deputation that road from Gangera to Rajjan Di Baowli got sanctioned and same road will be constructed by PMGSY Department shortly. He also said that the proposal of construction of link road for holly Sharda Mata is under process to clear the objections of Forest Department and very soon it shall got sanctioned.
The prominent locals were present with deputation includes Ch. Ayet Hussain, Roshan Din, Barket Ali, Jamat Ali, Sonu, Liyaket Ali, Taj Din, Sardar Mohd and Shouket Ali.
