JAMMU, May 21: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation has strongly supported the demand of clerical cadre employees for removal of their pay anomalies, urging the State Government to concede the same on priority basis.
In a statement, Abdul Majid Khan, president, LPEF, said that the demand of removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre has always been on the agenda of the Federation and the demand was taken up with the Government many times in the past.
He also reiterated the demand for reorganization of clerical cadre in the offices outside the civil secretariat by creating the posts of Administrative officers and Private Secretaries in the offices of the heads of departments, posts of SOs and Senior Stenographers in district level offices and posts of Head Assistants and Junior Stenographers in all other subordinate offices in order to streamline office work and provide ample promotional avenues to the clerical staff facing acute stagnation.
