KATRA, Apr 17: Acting swiftly after the incident of theft, police arrested the accused and recovered the stolen amount from him, today.
According to police spokesman, Bhawan police arrested the accused Sabar Shah son of Mubarak Shah resident of Targri, tehsil Budhal, district Rajouri and recovered Rs 25000 stolen cash in case FIR number 3/16 under Section 379/RPC.
According to the complaint, namely Abdul Majid son of Hussain Mohd resident of Targai, teshil Budhal, district, Rajouri reported to police that during intervening night of 15/16-04-2016 when he was sleeping behind Manokamna Bhawan and had a purse containing a cash of Rs 25000 and when he woke up in the morning, he found his purse containing cash was stolen.
One person namely Sabar Shah son of Makhi Shah, resident of Targai, teshil Budhal, district Rajouri was also sleeping along with him.
The police party led by SHO, Rajesh Kumar headed by SSP, Reasi, Surjit Kumar made the arrest of the thief Sabar Shah and recovered the cash from his possession within few hours.
