REASI, Apr 17: Reasi Police today arrested two bootleggers and seized illicit liquor from their possession.
One of the accused, identified as Ajit Singh of Kalaban Chasana, presently putting up at Migrant Camp Talwara, was intercepted by a Police team, led by Incharge PP Talwara, SI Ved Parkesh. 41 Poly Pouches, measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K Excise liquor, were recovered fro his possession.
Police arrested the accused seized the recovered liquor besides registering a case in this connection at Reasi Police Station.
Meanwhile, in another success, Arnas Police conducted a raid at village Khidab Judda and recovered 45 litres illicit Desi Lahan and other items, being used for preparing illicit liquor. The recovered liquor as well as utensils were seized while the Lahan was destroyed on the spot
The accused person, identified as Shinder Singh of Khidab Judda was arrested and a case has been registered against him.
