KATHUA, Apr 11: Bhawan Nirman Kamgar Union (BNKU) held protest and submitted a memorandum to District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kathua.
Through memorandum, General Secretary of the Union Raj Kumar demanded appointment of full-fledged staff including senior assistant, junior assistants, accountants, etc in the office of Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kathua and simplification of registration process of the construction workers.
He also demanded addressing of genuine pending cases for registration and issuance of cards to the workers.
