BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal organizes Working Committee meeting

JAMMU, Apr 10: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Gandhi Nagar Mandal organized Working Committee meeting chaired by Mandal president, Ankush Gupta, here today.
Jammu district president, Baldev Billowria and BJP State secretary, Aseem Gupta were also present on the occasion.
The meeting began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the dignitaries on the occasion.
Gandhi Nagar MLA Kavinder Gupta and BJP State Organization General Secretary, Ashok Koul presided over the meeting.
Ankush Gupta, in his presidential address, welcomed all the members of his newly formed Mandal team and ward presidents. He highlighted the need of strengthening the party at booth level by highlighting the achievements of the BJP regime at the Centre as well as the State.
He thanked the Mandal team for making all recent programs run by BJP a success, which include Jan Vishwas Yatra, Sthapna Diwas and Vikas Sushasan Rally.
Baldev Billowria and Aseem Gupta also apprised the Gandhi Nagar Mandal team about various achievements of BJP-run Central and State Governments.
In his address, Ashok Koul said that although India got its independence around 70 years back, yet the people enjoy freedom from just two years now. He informed the team about the upcoming programmes of the party and asked it to keep exhibiting the similar vigour and involvement in other programmes also.
The concluding session was conducted by Kavinder Gupta, who shared experiences of his political career with the party workers and told them to be prepared for the upcoming local body elections.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by the Mandal general secretaries Kulbir Charak and Gurmeet Randhawa. Kulbir also managed the stage and delivered the vote of thanks.
Prominent among others present were Pappu Choudhary, Vijay Gupta, Ankush Dogra, Vishal Gupta, Diler Singh, Nayan Gupta, Balwan Singh, Harshwardhan Gupta, D P Arora, Rohit Mahajan (Rinku), Om Prakash Sharma, Vishwadeep Gupta, Navdeep Sharma, Rajat Sharma and Prateek Mehta.
