JAMMU, Apr 7: A woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Pinky Sharma (55) wife of Som Rattan, a resident of Rajouri, was shifted here at GMCH on March 21 after she suffered about 90% burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
After battling with the life for over 15 days, the woman today succumbed to her injuries at about 4 pm. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem, which will be conducted tomorrow.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
