J&K Bank holds customers meet at Katra

REASI, Apr 7: J&K Bank organized a ‘customer meet’ at Katra, which was presided over by its executive president, Parvez Ahmad.
The bank’s senior president, Mohammad Syed Wani, vice president, Sudhir Gupta and Zonal Head, Jammu North (II), Ashutosh Sareen and MLC Jugal Kishore were also present in the meeting, which was attended by president, Hotel Association, Katra, Rakesh Wazir, besides a group of customers comprising senior citizens, businessmen, shopkeepers and villagers.
Speaking on the occasion, Parvez Ahmad said, “J&K Bank is not just another commercial bank but a financial institution with a mission to empower the people from all walks of life.”
“We understand socio-economic terrain of this State very well and have a wide-range of tailor-made products designed according to the varied and growing needs of people belonging to different segments of economy and society. Besides, we are expanding further across the State to make world-class banking services and facilities accessible to more and more people through an evolving blend of financial-inclusion with different communication and technology platforms”, he added.
Mohd Sayed Wani deliberated on the importance of customer satisfaction. He assured the audience that the bank would continue to provide best customer service to meet expectations of customers.
Many issues came up for the discussion on the occasion which were duly noted by the Chair with assurance that their suggestions will be duly taken care of by the bank that shall continue to work towards development of people across the State and deliver best customer services.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Ashutosh Sareen gave an overview of the bank’s decision of reorganizing its zonal structure. He said that the zone was created to focus mainly on districts Reasi and Udhampur and to take the customer service to new level.
The bank’s Cluster Head-Reasi, Vibhakar Khajuria, concluded the meeting with vote of thanks.
