KATHUA, Sept 13: The people from Shapaki village in district Kathua held protest demonstration against the PDD authorities for their failure to restore electricity supply even after ten days.
The people got agitated after the PDD staff installed transformer, getting it repaired at the village after ten days. When they tried to restore power, it did not work and the field staff again started shifting it back to the workshop.
The public got agitated and started protest demonstration. They shouted slogans against the Executive Engineer PDD Kathua and Chief Engineer M&RE Jammu. They alleged bungling in the repair work of transformers and demanded high level inquiry.
