UDHAMPUR, Mar 18: NSS units of Government Degree College in collaboration with ‘Gandhi Global Family’ organised inter collegiate symposium on the topic “Truth and Non-violence”.
Principal of the college Prof SS Bhalwal was the chief guest.
On the occasion, Dr Vikram Gulati, Coordinator, Gandhi Global Family, Udhampur expressed his views related to the topic.
Prof Bhalwal advised the students to propagate the message of “Truth and Non-violence” among the common masses.
Shavina Akhter of GDC Udhampur, Parul Oberoi of GCW Udhampur and Yash Paul of GDC Ramnagar were adjudged first, second and third and awarded Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 respectively by the Gandhi Global Family.
The jury comprised of Dr Jagdish Mehra, Project Officer DRDA Udhampur, Anil Sharma, District Informatics Officer Udhampur and Rajesh Gupta, Executive Engineer PHE Udhampur.
Among others present were Dr Udhey Bhanu and Prof Suresh Kumar Dogra, NSS Officers, Prof Romesh Kumar Atri, Prof Kamal Kishore, Dr Pankaj Sharma, etc.
