NEW DELHI, Sept 13: Germany’s Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co, the leading manufacturer of audio solution, today announced the appointment of Gunjan Srivastava as the Managing Director of its wholly-owned Indian subsidiary—Sennheiser Electronics India Pvt Ltd.
Gunjan takes over from Sharmila Sahai who has decided to move on due to personal reasons.
“We look forward to his (Srivastava) diverse experience to further strengthen Sennheiser’s position in the Indian market. We will be working together to build Sennheiser as the leader in bringing the best and most innovative audio solutions to Indian market,” Mr Paul Whiting, President of Global Sales at Sennheiser Electronics GmbH & Co KG said in a statement.
Having started his professional career in 1992, Gunjan joins Sennheiser with almost two decades of experience in leading sales, marketing and business management for some of the leading consumer brands in India.
In his last role, Gunjan led the Audio Video and Accessories business for Philips India.
He has done his mechanical Engineering from IT-BHU and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. (UNI)
