Kishtwar, Mar 9: Underlying the State’s developmental agenda on priority for the People’s Democratic Party, MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak, in a public darbar at village Hudri, convened as a part of ongoing Panchayat Contact Campaign, said that Peoples Democratic Party teaches the best lesson of constructive development to the state politics as well as politicians of opposition.
He alleged that the opposition parties had destructive mindsets,who continuously tried to create difficulties before the Peoples Democratic Party in establishing the developmental policies for the betterment of State but all their attempts goes in vain, he said, adding that PDP was committed to explore the scope of progress and development in State.
While interacting with the people, Tak lamented that the opposition parties have always created chaos in taking developmental policies among the general people. He said that National Conference always played an emotional politics with the innocent masses of State in general and Kishtwar in particular instead of playing politics on developmental agendas, he alleged.
He said that Peoples Democratic Party has always the pain of masses. “PDP attempts to circulate the power among the members of the societies in State with commitment to spread the lesson of development, progress, peace and prosperity”, he expressed.
However, Tak said that Peoples Democratic Party’s Patron , late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was committed to empower the rural population by giving them the grassroot power in State. He assured that they being the soldiers of party would fulfill the dreams of Mufti Sayeed with zeal and zest as the PDP, Chief Mehbooba Mufti is enough competent to utilize the experience she received from the legend of Indian politics, Mufti Sayeed.
Meanwhile, in connection with the visit of party president , Mehbooba Mufti to Kishtwar for launch of membership drive.
In arrangements were discussed. Several local leaders hailing from Kishtwar and Inderwal segment attended the meeting and putforth their suggestions.
