Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Feb 8: All State Kashmir Pandit Conference (ASKPC) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president Advocate  R K Raina highlighted the concern of displaced students.
The meeting said that the JKCET examination dates announced by BOPEE on May 14 and 15 this year clash with the PMET of Punjab University.
The meeting urged the Government to make a change in the date so that the displaced students from Valley can participate in both the examinations.
The meeting said that the dates have been deliberately made to clash with PMET so that the displaced students can’t appear in the same.
This shows the callousness of the State authorities towards the displaced people from the Valley, it added and demanded that the dates be changed to suit the displaced and other students of the State who intend to appear in the PMET examination also.
The meeting said that this also indicates that the authorities are becoming an impediment in the way of displaced students so that they can’t avail the migrant quota.
Dr T K  Bhat general secretary, C L Bhat vice president said that the PM employment package has been a distant dream for the displaced youth as no sincere efforts are being made for its implementation.
