JAMMU, Feb 8: A man was injured when he received a gun shot during a marriage party at Jallochak area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a waiter identified as Kuldeep Kumar son of Munshi Ram, a resident of Jallochak, was injured in a gun shot late last night during a marriage party at a house in Jallochak area.
“The injured waiter was immediately taken to a private hospital in Amritsar”, he said adding a case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigations are underway to ascertain whether the man was injured in a celebratory fire or shot deliberately by anyone over some issue.
