JAMAMU, Feb 7: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front in its joint meeting held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita today accused the Government for its failure in settling the problems of displaced Pandits.
As per a release, the meeting demanded enhancement of cash relief to the tune of Rs 25,000 per month.
Pandita said that non migrants from Valley are getting the benefits of relief as they have managed the migrant ration cards and the government should probe the same. He demanded a probe into the same and cancellation of such ration cards.
He demanded that the migrants of RBA areas be given the benefit of RBA category and termed the denial of RBA certificates to these people an injustice with them.
He also appealed holding of on spot recruitment rally at Jagti and other camps for migrant youth and permanent rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley.
