JAMMU, Feb 3: Government has appointed Inquiry Officer to look into the charges framed against Aijaz Ahmed Malik, DySP, presently under suspension and attached in the office of DIG, CKR, Srinagar.
According to the order, in terms of Rule 33 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, Ghulam Hassan Bhat, DIG, CKR, Srinagar has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to conduct an enquiry into the charges framed against Aijaz Ahmed Malik, DySP, presently under suspension (attached in the office of DIG, CKR, Srinagar) and served to him vide O.M. No Home/Gaz/PB-I/Comp/78/2015/5830 dated 15.10.2015.
Aijaz Ahmed Wani, Chief Prosecuting Officer, District Srinagar will be the Presenting Officer.
The Inquiry Officer will complete the enquiry and submit his report to the Home Department within 45 days.
