MENDHAR, Feb 2: The students of 12th class from Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Mendhar and GHSS Harni lodged protest for denial of roll number slips to them by the school authorities.
About forty students from Mendhar and 34 from Harni school were denied roll numbers for appearing in the examination on the plea that many of them were short of class lecturers and could not bring desired attendance. The Principals of these schools returned their roll number slips to the School Board office at Mendhar.
Upon this, the students and also parents of many students lodged protest against school authorities. They alleged that if there was shortage then why their application forms were filled up and fee submitted by the school authorities. They alleged harassment by the school authorities. Dev Dutt Sharma In-charge BOSE Sub Office, Mendhar when contacted said that roll number slips can not be nedied to the students who have submitted application forms along with fee to the Board office. Let the School heads take decision and they will resend the roll number slips to the school authorities.
