JAMMU: Special Court of National Investigation Agency, Jammu today extended the remand of Lashkar militant Mohammad Naveed arrested alive in Udhampur attack on August 5 last year in which a militant was killed and two BSF personnel got martyred.
Special Judge NIA Kishore Kumar today extended judicial remand of accused Mohammad Naveed and others.
After perusal of the CD file, Special Judge Kishore Kumar observed that as per the investigation of the case, accused Ashiq Hussain Bhat and Fayaz Ahmed Shawar are also found involved in the conspiracy, however, they are yet to be arrested and the investigation of the case has been finalized and the case has been processed for accord of sanction from MHA, as such, further detention of the accused persons is necessary for launching the prosecution against them.
