JAMMU, Dec 18: Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti have called brain storming session of the party in Srinagar tomorrow to devise the party strategy for upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Panchayat elections.
“All Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, party leaders who had lost the election, office bearers from entire State, district presidents and general secretaries of the party have been invited to the meeting, which will be held at Banquet Hall,’’ party leaders said.
Agenda of the meeting circulated among the party leaders is discussion on present political situation and organizational matters. However, the leaders said, the focus would be on upcoming elections to Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Panchayats, which have been scheduled for March-April (ULBs) and May-June (Panchayats) next year.
Party leaders said Mehbooba Mufti reached Srinagar this evening from New Delhi, where she was busy with Parliament session, while Mufti Sayeed will reach the summer capital tomorrow morning.
Mufti and Mehbooba would address the party leaders only after listening to all of them during day-long meeting.
