CS discusses PMRP implementation with Administrative Secretaries

JAMMU, Dec 17: Chief Secretary, B R Sharma in a meeting with Administrative Secretaries, discussed the implementation of Prime Minister’s Reconstruction and Rehabilita-tion Plan in the State.
Chief Secretary held department wise discussion with the respective Administrative Secretaries asking them to ensure that action plan of projects/schemes envisaged in the PMRP is finalized at the earliest for further submission to various Union Ministries and NITI Ayog for funding.
Mr Sharma also discussed projects to be taken under permanent restoration of assets affected by September-2014 floods. He said each department should prioritize and list the projects to be taken up under permanent restoration and submit the DPRs for submission to the NITI Ayog.
Chief Secretary also linked timely completion of projects with free flow of funds under the PMRP and called upon Administrative Secretaries to ensure that all facets of the project are monitored to complete it within the fixed timeline. “We must start immediately so that the task of execution and implementation of PMRP is set on track”, the Chief Secretary told Administrative Secretaries.
Principal Secretary, Home, R K Goyal, DGP K Rajendra administrative Secretaries and senior officers were present in the meeting.
