JAMMU, Dec 16: Crescent Public School Janipur celebrated its 11th annual day at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium in Jammu University today with great enthusiasm and fervour. Secretary JKBOSE, Veena Pandita was chief guest on the occasion, Monika Kohli senior advocate, chairman, vice chairman, Managing Director, Co-director, Director and Principal of the Crescent Public School were the guests of honour.
The welcome speech was given by Arshad Choudhary, chairman of the School, School Principal, Bhavna Koushal presented the school annual report showcasing the achievements of the School in various fields.
Based upon the theme of save girl child, the students presented mesmerizing ballet “Beti Bachao/Nari Shakti’’ depicting inequality between male and female child, girl infanticide, the deplorable condition of women in country side etc. The ballet culminated with the slogans “ save girl child, value the girl because she is precious, daughters are the flowers who always bloom etc.
The most riveting dialogue which drew an unceasing applause with wet eyes was “ Maa—Maa-Main bi Jeena Chahti hoon, Main bi duniya main aana chahti hoon Maaa—-‘’.
The tiny tots of prep wing stole every ones heart with their impressive performance based on the topic “Jungle main Mangle’’. Among the other show stealers were the energetic Goan Dance and Dogri dance by the tiny tots of the School.
The felicitation ceremony was presented by Kiran Zutshi senior coordinator and Mrs Alpna Dhar junior coordinator of the School.
