It is reported that the inconvenience often faced by the people at state treasuries shall be over. The government has decided to bring all branches of state treasuries under the process of computerization. It is reported that the state Finance Department has decided in principle to make on line payments of its bills and cheques. First come first served principle will be applied to remove doubts of any out of box references to some people in making payments as payments exceed receipts most of the time.Those officers in charge of treasuries who violate the first come first serve norm shall be punished. There is a proposal for telephone facilities for lodging complaints also.
While it all looks nice , it is hoped that there shall be good monitoring of this customer friendly decision. It is requested that computers are kept operational and they do not develop induced troubles to go back to the old practices. This decision of on – line facility shall improve the image of treasuries in making payments to first come first served basis.
