KATRA, Dec 9: An auto driver was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his rented room in Kundoriyan, Katra.
The deceased was identified as Jaidev (56), son of Chajju Ram of Sarwal. He was an auto driver working in Katra. His dead body was found in a rented room, which was locked from inside. One half filled glass with liquor was found near the dead body.
The dead body was shifted to CHC Katra and his family members were informed.
Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a pilgrim from Madhya Pradesh sustained injuries when an auto, carrying him, hit an electric pole. The injured, identified as Paradeep Chindiya Pratkar, son of Chindiya Pratkar of Chindwada (MP), was shifted to CHC Katra for first aid.
