JAMMU, Dec 3: A man was killed today in a hit and run case at Chatha area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Som Nath (50) son of Daya Ram of unknown residence, was this evening going on his by-cycle when he was hit and left seriously injured by an unknown vehicle at Chatha near Peer Baba.
The seriously injured man was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting post mortem tomorrow.
The concerned police had registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
