KATHUA, Nov 1: A leading businessman of Kathua district who was suspected to be suffering from Dengue died late last night at Amritsar in Punjab.
According to reports Ashok Kumar Gupta a leading businessman of the town was shifted to Fortis Hospital Amritsar by his family members as he was suspected to be suffering from Dengue few days back. However as his condition deteriorated further the family planned to shift him to Delhi late last night but he died while being shifted to Union Capital for specialized treatment.
The family said that he was suffering from Dengue and they had shifted him to Amritsar from here for treatment few days back.
His dead body was brought Kathua this morning where he was cremated later.
