UDHAMPUR, Oct 27: The NSS unit of Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur today organized a blood donation camp under the blood donation campaign (a month long activity) to promote safe blood donation.
Prof KS Koushal, Principal GCW Udhampur, Dr Chander Parkash, Chief Medical Officer Udhampur, and Dr Narinder Bhatial, Superintendent, District Hospital Udhampur, were present on the occasion.
The camp was organized by Dr Mool Raj and Prof Swarna Bhougal, NSS Programme officers of GCW Udhampur.
While addressing the NSS volunteers, Dr Bhatial exhorted upon the volunteers to come out for such a noble cause and inspire others to donate blood.
In the camp, 15 NSS volunteers donated their blood. Diksha, Pinki, Mamta Thakur, Pooja Devi, Soloni Rajput, Meena, Shivaya, Seema, Manika Sharma, Simran, Osheen, Kanisha and Swarna Bhougal were among the blood donors.
