Elderly pilgrim dies after fall from pony

KATRA, Oct 26: An elderly female pilgrim from Delhi, died here today after she fell while riding a pony  near Hathi Matha.
She sustained a serious head injury and was rushed to the Sagarsuri dispensary at Sanjhichat  where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Anguri Devi (80), wife of Lt  Phool Chand of  Pachim Vihar,  Delhi. On the pilgrimage, she was accompanied by her son Roop Ram.
Meanwhile,  Police Station Bhawan returned three unclaimed bags, containing mobile phones, cash and some documents, to their owner, who had lost the same  at Bhawan area.
The bags, containing 2 Nokia and one Samsung Mobile phone sets, Rs.1200 cash  and some important documents, were returned to pilgrim Dheeraj Pandey, son of  O P  Pandey of  C-34 NITTI Campus Bhopal, after a proper verification was conducted by Police.
