JAMMU, Oct 8: SSP GRP Railway Katra Ashok Sharma accompanied by SDPO GRP Katra Kamlesh Shoor and SHO Deepak Tufchi today conducted extensive checking of railway track from GRP Manwal police station to GRP police post Sangar.
During the checking, the police officers conducted extensive patrolling on the track and met with the patrol parties. They called upon the patrolling teams to carry out 24×7 patrolling on the tracks and ensure that there was no untoward incident.
They asked members of the patrolling parties to keep strict vigil on any kind of movement around the tracks.
The Railways Police have intensified patrolling in the view of upcoming festival season, which was likely to witness rush in Katra bound trains.
