Jammu, Sept 30: The Agriculture Department Casual Labour’s Union (ADCLU) protest entered into fifth day which was held at Krishi Bhawan Talab Tillo, Jammu.
The leaders of the Casual Labour Union showed resentment over the delaying tactics of State Government to frame the policy for their regularization.
They urged the Government that the casual labour of the Agriculture Department are continuously drawing the wages on muster sheets through Government Treasuries from 1994 and their case is fit for regularization. Moreover the demand of casual labour for regularization is already in the Agreement.
Others who participated in the protest included Rajinder Kumar, Pitamber Nath, Anil Gandotra, Ravi Kumar, Tilak Raj, Ganesh Sharma, Amit Sharma, Bikram Singh, Baldev Chand, Vijay Kumar and Shakti Kumar.
